Our Story
Vancouver, Canada — Est. 1999
In 1999, my mother opened a small boutique in Vancouver with one belief: that the right piece of clothing could change how a woman sees herself. She chose every item with her hands and her heart. She knew her customers by name. She stayed late to steam a dress for a wedding, and opened early for a woman who needed something for a job interview.
That boutique became Clover & Cloth.
My brother and I grew up in it: Folding stock after school, watching her help a mother find something for her daughter's graduation, learning that clothing is never just clothing. They are memories; they give a woman confidence; it is a woman walking out the door knowing she is ready for whatever comes next.
When she was ready to step back, we stepped in. We carried the same belief forward for almost three decades. Choosing every piece with intention, every season with care, every collection with deep respect for the women who trusted us to do the best for her customers.
What We Believe
Every woman deserves to feel at home in what she is wearing.
Not the idea of a woman, not a mannequin, not a trend board, but you; the real, breathing, multidimensional woman who has a special dinner on Friday, errands on Saturday, and absolutely no interest in spending either feeling uncomfortable in something that does not suit her.
We learned which styles make women feel powerful and which ones just look powerful on a hanger. We learned that the right outfit can change a woman's entire week. We learned that sometimes you come in knowing exactly what you want, and sometimes you just need to feel something beautiful, and both of those reasons are completely valid.
That belief has guided every single piece we have ever brought into Clover & Cloth. It always will.
